On the 14th October, homes and interiors journalist and stylist, Jo Welch, launched 'The Deco Affair', a funky new annual lifestyle industry networking party hosted by the Draycott Group. The event featured a sneak preview of next season's hot trends, a showcase of up and coming designers, all with a twist of surprise entertainment, cocktails and delicious treats to eat thrown in.

On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September the Draycott Education Centre hosted an exquisite exhibition of divine sculptures and paintings by two eminent artists.

Karin Fernald, author of The Dumpy Princess read an extract from her book, whilst illustrator Sophie Foster sold limited edition prints of her pictures from the book. 

On the 8th September the Draycott Group hosted a drinks evening staring Lynda Bellingham. Lynda shared the joys and trials which have been integral to her highly successful acting career, and promoted her book 'Lost and Found, My Story'.

Lynda Bellingham kindly opened the Summer Fair which boasted many beautiful items including jewellery, bags and shoes.

Simon Copeland is a Couture Dress Designer based in London. From his studio in Battersea, he caters for all events designing privately with individual clients, alongside two Collections each year. In October Simon launched his beautiful Spring/Summer collection – ‘Lo Spirito Dei Medici’ - held at the Draycott Education Centre, to rave reviews.

The Draycott Group celebrated the relocation to their prestigious new premises with a launch party which was attended by friends, colleagues and associates. The move to more spacious offices will enable the Draycott Group to expand, and to develop the Nursing & Care training programmes which the MD Angela Hamlin has sought to do for some time.
